bertuzzi.JPG (6128 bytes)The Canucks continue to play well in pre-season with a win over the Sharks 4-3.  Todd Bertuzzi once again impressed, scoring two goals, and bringing his pre-season total to 5 goals and 4 assists.  Highly touted Canucks draft pick Bryan Allen left the game early after being elbowed by Ron Stern, and did not return.  Newly acquired D Murray Baron returned the favor to Stern with an impressive decision in a fight later in the first period.  Stern's face was bloody when he went the dressing room.  The Canucks are currently tied for third in the Western Conference with a record of 4-2-1.
