Canucks Fall to Kings 4-3

Source: None

The Canucks blew a lead in the third period to fall to the LA Kings in their last preseason game of 1998.  The Canucks had a 3-1 lead going into the third, but the Kings scored 3 unanswered goals to emerge victorious.  2 of those goals were on the powerplay, putting the Kings 3 for 6 on the man-advantage.  The Canucks' Bert Robertsson had a strong game, scoring a goal, and causing trouble for the Kings' players all night.  Unfortunately, Robertsson also collected 5 minor penalties throughout the game, one of which allowed the Kings to score.  Arguably the best Canuck in preseason, Todd Bertuzzi scored yet another goal, bringing his total to six.  With the preseason over, the Canucks have collected a record of 4-3-1 going into the regular season.  The Canucks' first game of the regular season is October 12, again with LA.
