Negotiations with Bryan McCabe continue to be stalemated. Unsigned Bryan McCabe looks to remain that way as negotiations continue to go nowhere. Canucks GM Brian Burke called demands from McCabe's agent Jeff Solomon 'nothing short of absurd', but says he doesn't blame the player. The Canucks are offering the young defenseman about $1.1 million US, while Solomon is demanding $2.5 million US. With the sides that far apart, the prospects of McCabe signing soon are remote at best. |
