Canucks Blown Over By Hurricanes

The Canucks dropped their first of a five game road trip to a team which they are capable of beating. Carolina is no push over, but the Canucks could have at least showed up and put in an effort. The Canucks had terrible problems putting the puck on net, getting only 17 shots on net (8 of those game in the first two periods), making it easy for former Canuck and hot Carolina goaltender Arturs Irbe to net the win. The Canucks were sloppy, and had trouble starting the rush due to troubles with outlet passes from the defense. The only discussion that needs to be done on this game is that it was garbage, and the Canucks need to bounce back and prevent another stink out.
