In their most decisive win to date, the
Vancouver Canucks blew out the Florida Panthers 5-0 in Florida. The night was
exciting in a number of respects. Todd Bertuzzi scored two goals, Alexander Mogilny
had a great night scoring a goal and assisting on three, and Garth Snow got a
well-deserved shutout as he continues to play spectacular hockey between the pipes.
The highlight of the night, however, was Mark Messier's historic
600th goal who many fans around the league have been eagerly anticipating. Messier
joins 9 others players who have scored more than 600 goals in their career. 6th
place on the list (Mario Lemieux) is only 13 goals away. |
