Nominees for fan voting for this years
All-Star game have been released, and four Canucks are on the ballot. Mark Messier
is a nominee for the North America team (centres). Alexander Mogilny and hold-out
Pavel Bure are also on the ballot for the World team (wingers), as is Mattius Ohlund
(defencemen). With Bure included on the ballot, it is interesting to think what
might happen if he were to win a spot. As one of the top goal scorers, and one of
the most exciting players in the league, there's no doubt he will receive considerable
votes. The All-Star game takes place in Tampa Bay Florida, at the Ice Palace on January 24th. |
