Amber's Monty!
After a leisurely Sunday afternoon (4/19/98) drive to have the world's best burgers at In-N-Out, we made what turned out to be a life-changing decision.
Not intending to buy a car that day, we casually strolled over to the Mitsubishi dealership nearby. We should've known what was about to happen when a salesperson greeted us when we got out of our car, which was parked right in front of the lot.
Before you know it, we bought ourselves a brand new 1998 Mitsubishi Montero Sport to replace Amber's beat-up '87 Chevy Celebrity.
Buying the car changed our lives: not only do we now have a car payment each month, Amber also insists on washing the car every week or when it gets dirty, whichever comes first.
