My-Redirect allows you, the reader, to link from one of my web pages to a page of your choice. The page could be one of your web pages, or just a file on your PC. Pages with My-Redirect contain the following icon and text at the bottom of my page.
By clicking on the word "Link", then entering your link in the field provided, a cookie will be added to your computer. The link should be the full URL starting with either http:// or file:// just as you would enter it in the goto box of your web browser.
The next time your on that web page, just click on the computer icon, and you will jump to the link you previously defined.
Why use My-Redirect
I wanted to be able to go from one of my public web pages (for example, lets say a page on "Thing-a-ma-bobs", to a Personal file also about "Thing-a-ma-bobs" without placing a link on a public web page which would only be valid on my PC.
