My Interests

About my interests!

I have many interests, sometimes I think I have too many!

They include: Sports, Music, Computers, Sciences, Books, Travel.

Sports

Sports is my first love. I watched events since I was 8. My favorite sport is soccer. I also like basketball, ice hockey, tennis, F1 racing, but soccer is my favorite. In Russia, soccer and ice hockey are far more popular. When I was in the US, I simply didn't understand baseball and football,which were shown on every channel!

My favorite soccer team in Russia is Zenit St-Petersburg. In the world I also like Brazilian National, Ajax in its best years, Manchester United. My favorite player in Russia is Igor Kolyvanov playing for Bologna Italy, in the world I like Cantona, Maldini, Leonardo. Our National team has good chances to go to France '98, but we should win 1 out 2 matches against Bulgaria, and make a draw in another. Russians hoped to see good games from the team in Euro' 96, but were disappointed - we didn't even make it to the 1/4 finals. There were and still are many conflicts in our National team about money, bad coaches, bad management... Our best result in the World was 4th place in England' 66, but we won Euro' 60 and were 2nd in Germany' 88.The best coach in the modern history of our soccer was Valeriy Lobanovsky. He invented 4-5-1 system & co-invented (with Michels from Holland) total soccer.

I play soccer too.When I was 11, I even took part in the city's tournament (goalie). Now I have barely any time to play. .

Music

I like almost every kind of music. The one I like best is rock (Queen), hard rock (Deep Purple), metal (Black Sabbath, Dio, Ozzy, Iron Maiden), Celine Dion, Michael Jackson... The first ones I liked were of course the Beatles, then Queen, then harder and harder. I have all the albums of Queen, Beatles, Deep Purple, McCartney, Rainbow (former DP's lead guitar Richie Blackmore).

Computers

I have a Pentium-100, 14.4 modem (but I hope soon it will be 33.6), 2x CD-ROM. My favorite games are sports games - FIFA '97, Euro '96, Doom - clone games (Duke 3d, Quake), some strategical and tactical games (Colonization). My favorite game is Internet of course. Sciences

I'm interested in the Brain sciences: neurophysiology, psychoanalysis. I'm studying the works of Zigmund Freud, great Austrian psychoanalyst. Brain is the most mysterious part of human's body. I learned how to explain human dreams, his mistakes in the daily life. I'm going to be a psychoanalyst. I'm also interested in Pharmacology, Physiology.

Travel

I like to travel! I've been to Bulgaria twice, to Istanbul, to Finland. This summer I've been to US (San-Fransisco), where I made the 1st version of this site. US is really great! I'd like to study in an American University.
