Puzzle of the Whenever

This is the section of my webpage where you get to use your little brain :) Hopefully, you'll find it interesting. I personally like puzzles and brainteasers, so that's why I put this section of the page up. Well, I like puzzles, but after just two weeks, I figured this out. I don't have enough patience or time to make a puzzle of the week, so now it's Puzzle of the Whenever. Enjoy!

Puzzle of 10/3/98

A mother was walking with her baby along the banks of the Nile river when a crocodile sprang up in front of her and snatched her child from her. The crocodile asked "Will I eat your baby? Answer yes or no. If you're correct, I'll give the baby back to you unharmed, but if you're wrong, I'll have a nice meal." What should the mother say to get her baby back?
