I haven't found a great deal of information about the members of the band, which may be due to either my inability to use Infoseek properly, or perhaps the lack of infomation about Semisonic in the Media. Some of this information may not be absolutely up-to-date. If there's anything I have wrong or need to update, please e-mail me! Anyways--the info:

Semisonic is three guys based in Minneapolis:

Dan Wilson
John Munson
Jacob Slichter

Band History Info
Dan Wilson and John Munson were in a band called Trip Shakespeare (which put out a number of albums, including one which I personally like the title of, Are you Shakespearienced?) with Dan's brother Matt Wilson. When Trip Shakespeare disbanded, Dan Wilson and John Munson joined Jacob (Jake) Slichter to form Pleasure. Unfortunately, another band with this name threatened them so they changed over to their present name Semisonic. They have released three albums as Semisonic, their EP Pleasure (1995), Great Divide (1996), and the recent Feeling Strangely Fine (1998). (Click on Album Titles for lyrics--not by me)
