WHEN SETTING THE HOOK DON`T TAKE ALL THE SLACK OUT OF
YOUR LINE,THE LITTLE SLACK WILL HELP THE HOOK PENERTRATE
THE FISHES MOUTH.

CRANK BAITS

AS WITH ALL FISHING LURES,CRANK BAITS COME IN ALL
SHAPES AND SIZES.THERE ARE FAR TO MANY TO NAME HERE.
YOUR FIRST CONCEDERATION SHOULD BE THE DEPTH OF WATER YOU ARE FISHING AND USE ONE THAT WILL DIVE TO THAT DEPTH.
A LOT OF PEOPLE PREFER FIBERGLASS RODS FOR CRANKIN,I USE GRAPHITE FOR THE SENSITIVITY AND WEIGHT.FOR THE RIVERS AROUND HERE I LIKE A LURE WITH A TIGHT WOBBLE,UNLESS THE WATER IS MUDDY THEN I GO TO A WIDER WOBBLE.
A RATTLE TRAP AROUND AND OVER SUBMERGED GRASS AND WEEDS CAN BE DEADLY DURING THE SUMER.

SPINNER BAITS

Now here is a bait that can put some quality fish in your livewell in a hurry.When conditions are right the spinner bait can`t be beat. Tandem,Willow leaf,Colorado etc.All work well in thier place.Just remember the darker the water the more vibration.

Top water fishing can be one of the most exciting and most productive ways of fishing. Some say the only time to fish topwater is early and late.But I have seen Bass hit top water all day long.General rule of thumb is calmer the water the less noise you want to create. The lastest crase around here is the "RICO",a top water bait that is a lot like the "POP-R".
