Pompey signed Hamilton Thorp from the West Adelaide Sharks just prior to
the start of this season (97/98).
'Hammy' is equally at home in defence or attack, finishing as the Sharks' top scorer in last season's Ericsson Cup with 11 goals in 13 games.
Thorp, born in Darwin to English and Thai parents on 21st August 1973, has yet to make his Socceroos debut.
