News Update--4/13/99

Oh you didn't know!! Well my page his received a few decent hits, well more than expected anyway. Thanks to whoever reads the page because your visits have given me a much needed boost. Thanks to Rajah also for linking me from his page, I think that may have helped.

Anyway on with the latest happenings in the W-W-F.

Great news for all of you attending the "No Mercy" event in Manchester. A match just signed for the event is Sable VS. Tori in an evening gown match. The winner is the person who rips off her opponents top leaving them topless in the middle of the ring! Mouthwatering to say the least. Stone Clod will be headlining the event with a title defense, that is if he is still champion come May. More news as I get it on that one.

Speaking of Stone Cold, he is due to do another episode of Nash Bridges later this month which should be aired during sometime in May on CBS. It was documented on this page that his previous performance was impressive to say the least and this is probably why he is doing another gig. Good luck to the Rattlesnake, but I don't think he needs it!

Sable is due to do another Playboy shoot which is scheduled for sometime in May also. The release date of the magazine has not been set, but it is rumored to be next year sometime.

Sidney Eudy, better known as 'Sycho' Sid, has been released by ECW. This may lead to him re-joining the WWF. This is down the fact that he join some of the many big story lines going on in the federation at the moment. He is also hugely popular with the fans and would have no problem fitting in. There are rumors of him joining DX but we shall have to wait to see what pans out as nothing has been confirmed yet.

Scorpio and Steven Regal, who have both been released by the federation recently, look like resurfacing in ECW.

A big DX rumor is the fact of Shawn Michaels returning to the fold. Since the teams of X-Pac and Kane as well the Outlaws look like they are going to go at it together, a savior of DX will be needed. This person, logically, seams to point to only one man, HBK. This would be a great boost to the faction as they have been troubled as of late. But once again it is only a rumor so don't bank on it yet.

Chris Jericho told a fan that he would likely to be headed to the WWF when his contract runs out in July. He will definitely look at his options when his contract runs out though. He won't be able to go anywhere until August though.

Another man that seems though with the WWF is Bart Gunn. After his embarrassing loss to Butterbean at WrestleMania, he seams to be going nowhere fast. Him disappearing from the group looks like the only option left him and the WWF. Unless they can create a new character for him but in his current state it does seem unlikely.

As I eluded to in my last report, the WWF may give Raw a new look, but after thinking about it for a while, why would the WWF mess with a great formula. The shows still looks as great as it did when it transformed last time from Monday Night Raw.

The titles for the upcoming PPV events are the same as last years. May's In Your House will be called Over the Edge and July's will be called Fully Loaded. Rajah brought up the matter that the WWF will scrap the In Your House part from each title, and give each event a more individual feel.

Sean Stasiak and Kurt Angle are expected to debut soon. Stasiak is expected to enter a feud with D'Lo Brown with him being linked to PMS. Angle should debut with his lovely wife Karen by his side. Nicole Bass will also appear more as Sable's bodyguard. Funny this seems familiar. Remember it wasn't that long ago when a certain arrogant character also had a body guard in the form of huge dude. Wasn't their names something like Shawn and Diesel. Anyway back to the Bass situation, she already has appeared with Sable during last nights women's title match.

Marc Mero will be returning soon in which he could enter an angle involving himself, Sable and Bass. Well we shall have to see.
