RAW is WAR--4/12/99

• Backstage, Vince McMahon was with Stephanie, along with Detroit police. McMahon said Stephanie would be safe.

• Corporation Interview.
- Shane McMahon was about to introduce Rodney and Pete Gas from the Mean Street Posse, but Ken Shamrock took the microphone and asked Shane where he was when The Ministry of Darkness abducted him. Shamrock said he thought The Corporation was family. Shane said that he would have an explanation later in the show. Shane then talked about how his father only cared about Stephanie and no longer The Corporation. He called out Stephanie. Stephanie was shown backstage, wanting to go but Vince didn't. She talked Vince into it and they came out to the ring, along with Detroit Police. Vince was upset with "putting his daughter in danger by coming out." Shane totally snapped at his father verbally. He then publicly fired Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco, saying they were too old. Vince explained to his son he had to earn respect, since he was going off with his power. Shane said, "Respect this" and slapped his father right across the face. Vince was irate. Stephanie was pleading for Vince to go back to the locker room and forget about, which he did. Shane said, "You are no longer my father and you aren't even known as Mr. McMahon to me - just simply as Vince." Shamrock was upset and left the ring to side off with Vince. In the parking lot, Vince, Stephanie, Brisco, Patterson, and Shamrock got in the limo. Vince also thanked Shamrock for his loyalty.

• Sable (w/Nicole Bass) vs. Ivory vs. Tori vs. Jacqueline (w/Terri Runnels) resulted in a No-Contest, to let Sable retain the Women's Title.
- Nicole Bass came down with Sable, who did the grind dance. After all the challengers were in, Bass destroyed them all, lifting them up and slamming them down. The lights went out. The Undertaker appeared on the Titan Tron. He said to Vince McMahon there would be another sacrifice later in the show and he would soon get Stephanie.

• Backstage, Stone Cold Steve Austin arrived.

• Stone Cold Steve Austin Interview.
- Stone Cold Steve Austin said that two weeks was too long for him to wait for his Heavyweight Title match with The Rock at the Backlash PPV. He wanted The Rock to come out and give him his custom-made belt back or Austin would go back to the locker room and beat The Rock's ass. The Rock appeared on the Titan Tron, where he was on a bridge somewhere in the city and asked Austin if he remembered "this," basically referring to the time Austin threw The Rock's Intercontinental Title in a river. The Rock said he wouldn't do that. He told Austin he could find him and get the belt himself.

• Backstage, Mankind had a bag and asked a man at the desk where the boiler room was.

• Backstage, Michael Cole was set to get a word with Mankind.

• Paul Wight defeated Christian with the Chokeslam.
- When The Brood came out, The Undertaker's voice was heard over the arena. He instructed Edge and Gangrel to leave right away, so Christian could prove himself. Gangrel and Edge left. Christian was much quicker than Wight, sliding away from a few moves. The Big Show ended it, though, with the Chokeslam.

• In the boiler room, Michael Cole interviewed Mankind. Mankind said the he had a problem with Paul Wight. He said Wight would end up in a stretcher after Backlash in their Boiler Room Brawl match.

• Backstage, Shane McMahon sent Rodney and Pete Gas to take out Mankind in the boiler room. When returning form a commercial break, Rodney and Pete Gass were preparing to enter the boiler room.

• Billy Gunn defeated Val Venis by Disqualification.
- When Billy Gunn was thrown to the outside, Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett, along with Debra, came out and started to kick him. Road Dogg, and even Venis came, to Gunn's aid. Debra was in the ring. Venis started to flirt with her, but Jarrett made her get out of the ring.

• Backstage, Rodney and Pete Gas were in front of the boiler room door. They ran in, excitedly.

• In the boiler room, Mankind totally destroyed The Mean Street Posse. You could hear someone weeping in the background.

• Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart (w/Debra) defeated The Acolytes by Disqualification.
- During the match, The Brood, Viscera, and Midian all ran in and pummeled Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett. They held them back in the corner while The Undertaker came down, along with Paul Bearer, and took Debra by the throat. He said he would have to take Debra since Vince McMahon left with Stephanie. Shamrock then ran down with a baseball bat. The Undertaker told Shamrock if he hit him, he would never see Ryan again. He then told Shamrock, for some reason, that Ryan was in the boiler room. He was about to hit The Undertaker, but Christian held the bat and got hit, along with the rest of The Ministry of Darkness. The Undertaker told Shamrock too watch his back in the boiler room and then laughed.

• Backstage, Ken Shamrock headed toward the boiler room.

• At the bridge, The Rock awaited Stone Cold Steve Austin's arrival.

• The Godfather (w/ho's) defeated Goldust, to capture the Intercontinental Title.
- The match was scheduled to be The Big Bossman vs. Goldust, but The Godfather came out and offered Bossman three ho's. Bossman wanted all five and The Godfather gave them all up, taking the Intercontinental Title shot. The Godfather did his Ho Train maneuver, followed by the Pimp Drop, to capture the title. The ho's came back down in the end and celebrated with The Godfather.

• In the boiler room, Ken Shamrock called out for Ryan. Mankind called Shamrock over, saying Ryan was with him. Shamrock hugged his sister, who was scared, and asked if she was okay. There was some noise in the background that Mankind noticed.

• Backstage, The Ministry of Darkness beat on Mankind and Ken Shamrock. The Undertaker then told Paul Bearer to choke Shamrock out, which he did with a cloth. The Undertaker then ordered The Ministry to carry Shamrock away.

• Hardcore Holly defeated D-Lo Brown (w/Ivory) via Pinfall, to retain the Hardcore Title.
- Al Snow did color commentary. He helped Hardcore Holly throughout the match, supplying him with weapons, which was because Snow was the only one who wanted to defeat Holly for the title. D-Lo Brown set up Holly for the Lo-Down on a table, but Snow pulled Holly off. D-Lo fell through the table, which let Holly make the pin.

• Backstage, Ken Shamrock lay on a hard surface. The Undertaker said Shamrock would be sacrificed.

• At the bridge, The Rock fished as he waited for Stone Cold Steve Austin.

• The Undertaker came out and put Ken Shamrock on the UT Symbol. The Undertaker then lifted Christian high up in the air, choking him. He threw him down and told Gangrel and Edge to put Christian on the other UT Symbol. Edge and Gangrel wouldn't do it, so The Undertaker had Viscera and Midian do the job. Gangrel and Edge attacked them, turning on The Ministry of Darkness. Ken Shamrock escaped from the UT Symbol and started helping them out. Mankind then got involved. The Undertaker escaped by going under the ramp.

• X-Pac and Kane defeated Triple H and Test (w/Chyna) with Kane's Tombstone, to retain the Tag Team Titles.
- There was good team work among both teams. After Kane Tombstoned Test for the win, Triple H and Chyna left The Corporation member in the ring. X-Pac and Kane then ran after Triple H and Chyna.

• Ken Shamrock Interview.
- Ken Shamrock called out The Undertaker. The lights went out to no music. The Undertaker popped up from behind Ken Shamrock when the lights came back on. Shamrock then started to come out on top over the fight with The Undertaker, until The Ministry of Darkness ran in and attacked Shamrock. Triple H and Test ran in to the aid of Shamrock, but Triple H ended up punching Shamrock, with Shane McMahon laughing near the entrance-way.

• At the bridge, The Rock was about to throw Stone Cold Steve Austin's custom-made Heavyweight Title belt in the water. Austin arrived in his truck just in time. They started to brawl, with The Rock throwing Austin over the bridge. Austin hung on, but The Rock punched him down, as Austin fell in the river (probably a dummy). The Rock then through the Heavyweight Title belt into the river as the show went off the air.
