Noverry's 2nd match of the Autumn season in the Suffolk Soccerworld Monday League Division 2 against Global has been cancelled.
Player Manager John Miszalowski, himself still out injured, took the step of forfeiting the match because, with it being a bank holiday, he knew very few of the Noverry Athletic players could be arsed turning up.
For failing to turn up, under the Soccerworld Rules, Noverry forfeit the match 3-0.
Global, relegated from the 1st division last year, will be delighted with the news that their opponents will not be turning up - Noverry boast a tremendous record against them having been unbeaten against them over the seasons, including a superb 12-3 victory in the Cup last season.
