Revolution at Noverry Athletic

There has been a major reorganisation at Noverry Athletic FC which is hoped to bring much needed success to the club which has become the sleeping giant of the Suffolk Soccerworld League.
The reshuffle comes at a time when Noverry have struggled to field a side for recent matches due to lack of enthusiasm from certain team members - a "cannae be ersed" attitude prevailing and the inability to field a settled line-up contributing greatly to Noverry's current demise
As a result of the sweeping changes F Christie and P Lee will take over the administrative duties involved in running the club from DR SD Mitchell who is "sick fed up of it". And a "hardcore" squad of players have been assembled as follows - these are the players who remain committed to the Noverry cause and will be called on week in week out
N Mitchell
F Christie
SD Mitchell
J Miszalowski (injured at present)
PA Veitch
D Freeland
P Lee
A number of players feel they can no longer commit themselves 100% to Noverry's quest for glory, citeing late kick-off times and pursuit of bufty sports such as hockey as reasons. However, they will remain as "standby" players and may be called on if injuries, suspensions, etc to the core squad mean there are places to be filled. The standby players are:
C Sneddon
TM Holden
N Hayman
F Mate
The Club have agreed that any of the core squad players who do not have a legitimate reason for calling off (i.e. if they just cannae be ersed) will be placed in the standby squad until such time as they can prove their commitment again.
The situation is such that Noverry are on the lookout for new players with the goalkeeping situation a particular worry for the Noverry management - at present, there is no recognised 'keeper in the core squad.
Star player, N Mitchell who recently turned down a lucrative contract with leading Tuesday Premiership side Full Monty FC had hoped to turn the tables on the Premiership outfit by coaxing a couple of their players, including a star 'keeper to the Noverry ranks. However, wages wrangles ended the hopes of signing them in time for the game against T Frank.
The search for a goalkeeper will continue and Noverry are ready to shatter all records in a bid to get the right calibre of player for the No.1 jersey.
