A Tribute to our 96-97 tenor, Steve Graves This is to honor a fine tenor player who was with us for 2 years, and then quit. We have been informed however that he has recently been affected by some kind of tumor and subsequently has been paralyzed. He has recently returned to school and administrators are doing all they can to let him graduate with the rest of the Class of 2000 through assorted study programs.

The purpose of this page is to collect hopes and for our tenor player from 1996 to 1998, as he is now fighting to walk again. If you have anything you would like to say in good hopes for him, please email me or Andres at Katsuhit0@aol.com (Grant) or Drumtek15@aol.com (Andres). Any condolences will be posted and greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hey Steve, I'm sorry we didn't always get along together really well while you were still in drumline. I truly hope for the best to fall upon you. You are strong, you are a fighter. We will have some more friendly talks when I see you again in the future. Best wishes, Grant.

Steve...you are a very strong guy. Just keep pushing yourself and never give up! Were all thinking about you and hoping for the best. Even though we never really talked, I knew who you were and you were always there to make people laugh and have a better time! I'll never forget the great times the dance team and drum line had together at winterguard/indoor percussion shows! Just remember to take everyday a time and just keep pushing yourself and never give up! Were all thinking about you and hoping for the best. Your in ALL of our prayers! Love ya, Erica Marnell

Steve, How ya doin man. I'm real glad you and I became friends through band in Loggers Run. Then we got a little bit closer when we marched at Heights. Hahaha, I still remember when you, Pflug, and I almost got in a fight with those kids that were making fun of the band. Yeah, then both of us quit band after our sophmore year. It's really too bad about that tumor you got; im real sorry man. Stay up, cause the Lord is still with you. You'll be in my prayers. Love, John

You know I'm down with you, and you already know I pray to god that you get better. Even though we haven't chilled lately, we miss you bro. Back in the day, we were a mad tenor section.
