Tigerton trailed Wild Rose 33-27 at halftime, but could not keep up with the speedy Wildcats in the second half as they were outscored 41-13 in the 74-40 loss in Wild Rose.
Wild Rose jumped out to a quick eight point lead at 10-2, but Tigerton was able to get back in the game and take a 13-12 lead. Wild Rose went on another spurt in the second quarter, but again Tigerton was able to catch up, helped along by a technical foul called against the Wildcats for a wrong number reported in the score book.
Tigerton held a 27-26 lead until a 7-0 run to end the half gave Wild Rose all the momentum they needed.
Nick Desrochers led Tigerton with 18 points, while Wild Rose's Eric Martin led all scorers with 35 points. Martin missed the earlier game in Tigerton due to a suspension. Tigerton's next game is on Tuesday against the Gresham Wildcats, the WOWN Game of the Week.
