The Italian Stallions Take
"Fantasy Bowl III"
~The Italian Stallions led by Owner Joe Matise Sr., impressively
defeated The Long Shot's, led by Owner, John Nardolilli, in Fantasy Bowl
III to capture their second championship in the leagues three year history.
The Stallions, who placed third in the overall regular season standings,
got strong playoff performances by QB John Elway, and RB's Robert Smith
and Corey Dillon. Matise's team easily won their first playoff matchup vs.
The Gauchos, then in a Fantasy Bowl I rematch, ousted Nardolilli's Long
Shot's in a classic shootout! So with two out of the three championships
under his belt, one question lingers, could our young league be looking
at a dynasty...already!!!
