Kansas City forwards pushed down the pitch attacking with hard running and skillful rucking, getting to within ten meters of goal, when they lost possession and with poor tackling allowed the Bombers to score another try, Bombers 19-5 The second half started without the services of Mark Dunning & Brian Cichello both not able to continue because of injuries. Mark with a pulled thigh muscle and Chico with injury to his ribs. The Bombers promptly took advantage with their superior back play to score on multiple breakaway trys, pulling away to a convincing victory. Despite the loss the Kansas City Forwards showed tremendous heart, by out playing the Bombers pack in all phases of forward play. Kansas City had a great performances by all the forwards, fine play by the front row with Matt, Dave, Matt, Second rows Ginger and Jon Mize, flankers Troyce and Shawn and #8 Shane.
