GAME HIGHLIGHTS

·         KCRFC 7        Austin Blacks 55

A determined KCRFC team showed up and played a much bigger experienced Austin side competitively for the first twenty minutes.  Then Austin exposed weaknesses on the weakside using eightman pick-ups and bringing the fullback in and turned it into a long final 60 minutes.  The lack of depth was what hurt the team the most having to pick up some players from other sides when injuries occurred.

·         The 10-a-side jamboree on Saturday showed that KCRFC could bounce back and play rugby by beating the Dallas Reds and Austin Blacks.  Then losing a close one to Ft. Worth with the game ending on the KCRFC team going to the Ft. Worth 5m line and not able to punch it in.  KCRFC then lost to The Woodlands in the last game of the day.  Andy Dujakovich was back to Eagle form as he was definitely the player of day.
