Six members of the Europe squad attended the 3-day Foundations Course for Coaching Gaelic Football. At a special Banquet at the Burlington Hotel on Friday night 25th, each was presented with the coaching certificate. these were Sinead Morgan ( Paris Gaels), Gary Gahon (The Hague), Ann Donnelly ( Paris Gaels), Kevin Lovern ( Paris Gaels), Proinsias Collins (ex-Paris Gaels), and Tom ?.

International Festival Table Quiz. Lead by Selector Paul 'Dustin' Lynch, the Europe Teams featured very strongly in the International Festival Table Quiz. Compered by Micheal O'Muirithertigh, the Europe team had the Top score of any of the International Squads. the Brains are in Europe, eh !?

Craic, Music & Songs The European Team had no near competitors in this category. St. Vincent's became the second home for the Europe team each night, with Europe being the only team to support St.Vincent's GAA organised events, from Monday to Thursday.

Mark Scanlon and 'Dustin' gave some fine renditions during the week, and it was no wonder that Joe Mac Donagh & Barney Winston joined the European squad for the craic on several nights. ......Page 3
