Sporting Events

As the new Sports Convenor for 2000, I would like to ensure that as far as possible, the Members are given an opportunity to meet each other, either competitively or socially, on the golf courses, soccer fields, tennis courts, snooker tables, etc.

I would appreciate if you could either fax or e-mail back to me which sports or activities you wish to become an active member of the Society in, and clearly indicate whether you wish to play socially or competitively (against the Other Societies).

Obviously, if there are insufficient numbers in a particular sport we will proceed no more!

My convenors in the Sports Section are as follows:

Soccer Convenor: Sid Whyte

Golf Convenor: David Beattie

Snooker Convenor: John Fraser

Additional convenors will be recruited if there is sufficient members interested in a particular sport.
