Boys Seeded Race: Just before the 1-mile mark the pack following Alan Webb
includes: Steven Maddox (in front), Bobby Lockart (orange toboggan),
Tyler Stanfield (burgandy jersey #1084), and Joe Thorne (#441).
Maddox was third (15:08), Lockhart second (15:07), Stanfield 11th (15:32),
and Thorne fourth (15:09).

Girls Seeded Race: Shortly after the start the leaders include #609 Ginger Wheeler (Winston-Salem Mount Tabor),
#960 Holly Moser (Flower Mound, TX), #953 Valerie Lauver (Allen, TX), and #599 Laura Stanley (Fletcher, NC).
Wheeler was the 2nd finisher from North Carolina (14th in 18:41).

Girls Seeded Race: After the 1-mile and before the hill the group chasing Christa Benton includes:
#953 Valerie Lauver (Allen, TX) and on the right, in tights and gray shirt Laura Stanley (Fletcher, NC).
Lauver placed 8th in 18:34, and Stanley was fourth in 18:07.

Girls Seeded Race: Just before the 2-mile, from left to right are #952 Candice Kolb (Austin, TX),
#953 Valerie Lauver,#599 Laura Stanley (Fletcher, NC), and #2337 Kara Scanlin (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL).
Scanlin, a junior finished 2nd (18:03) and Kolb 3rd (18:07).
In the all white shirt, with black tights behind Lauver is Elizabeth Benson (Gallatin, TN), who finished 7th in 18:20.
The blonde haired runner, to the upper right behind Stanley is Jessa Vacek (Grapevine, TX), who was 6th in 18:19.
