Henry Rawlings, was born in MD from which state he removed to VA, and then, in 1807 to KY. He was a farmer and reared a family of three sons and two daus. Two sons and 1 dau subsequently moved to MO. Henry continued to reside in Marion Co until his death.

 

John B., was born in Pittsylvania Co., VA, in Oct of 1779, and came to KY in 1807, locating in Washinton Co. Here he married Miss Elizabeth Hindman in 1811. They had 4 sons; James H., Alson, Henry H. and John L.. plus five dau; Melissa (who md a Purdom and moved to TX), Nec (md a Tharp of Owensboro, KY), Sophia (md Mr. Glasscock), Artmise (md a Mr. Hayes of Marion Co., KY) and Polly who died young. John B. died in Marion Co in 1877.

2. JOHN B.2 RAWLINGS (JAMES HENRY1) was born October 11, 1776 in Pittsylvania Co., VA, and died February 18, 1876 in Marion Co., KY. He married ELIZABETH HINDMAN 1811 in Washington Co., KY.
