Peter probably had a first marriage before Mary Early nee Watson. His children Nancy and Martha were probably from that marriage since they are not listed as children of Mary Early Watson Rawlings in the will of her mother Elizabeth, Charlotte Co WB 1:431a.

Must have left Charlotte after his first two daughters were married. In 1800 he died in Campbell Co, VA.

Had a first wife (name unknown). Nancy and Martha may be children of first wife because they are not mentioned as grandchildren in Elizabeth Watson's will.

Peter was in Lunenburg in the 1750's as were William and (probably) John. Then he was in Charlotte (next river over) in the 1770's as were William and John

Note that Mary Watson Early Rawlings' sister Sarah md Stephen Coleman bef 1778. How does he fit into the Daniel Coleman family whose son Thompson Coleman md (1834) Sarah Leland Rawlings (b c 1812, Pittsylvania Co) dau of Wm Rawlings and Sarah Brame. And also the Wiley G. Coleman that md (in 1830) Elizabeth Rawlings(b 1805, Brunswick Co) dau of Benjamin Rawlings.

We have a Coleman connection between Peter Rawlings family (Lunenburg, Charlotte, Cambell), the William Rawlings/Sarah Brame family (Caroline/Pittsylvania Co.) and the William Rawlings/Naomi family through son Henry, grson Benjamin, gr-grdau Eliz. (Brunswick Co).

Children of PETER RAWLINGS and MARY WATSON are:

i. NANCY3 RAWLINGS, b. Bef. 1770; m. CHARLES HARRISON, January 02, 1786, Charlotte Co., VA3.

ii. MARTHA RAWLINGS, b. Bef. 1765; m. SMITH MILLNER, August 06, 1781, Charlotte Co., VA4.
