blue jays nemesis rocket roger has landed in toronto, but this time he's on their side. the four time cy young award winner should easily win 15+ games and strike out over 200 batters. he compiled a sub-average 10-13 record, but ended the year on an up-note with a 2.09 era and a 6-2 record in his last ten starts. clemens led the al in strikeouts with 257-- his eighth season with 200+ strikeouts. and he tied his own major league record by striking out 20 batters in a nine-inning game. clemens is still one of the most dominating pitchers in the game today. he has the endurance to last nine innings a good change-up to compliment his blazing fastball and he is one of the toughest to hit out of the park. eight times he struck out ten or more baters and he also stuck out the side 15 times. the only way to beat clemens is to get to him early, but that is easier said than done.
