Sulivan Skate Park
The cold temperatures, the rain, and the wind all add up to winter. Now we all know that it stinks when you go out to the local ramp, only to be greeted with a rain shower. This is the time to move indoors.
Sullivan Skate Park (2 Blake St. Reservoir), has just opened for buisness. The ramps were built by Hazard Boxes (the guys who put the ramps together for the Australian Extreme Games), and are of an excellent quality.
The majority of the skate room is taken up by a 20 foot wide ramp, with three varying heights (6.5 feet, 5.5 feet, 4.4 feet. oh, I'm also just guessing these measurements). One side of the ramp is stepped, the other has elevated coping. In the room is also a wall ride, gind poles, and a quater or two.
Anyway, next time it rains, I hope to see you down there.
