fourth-leading scorer in 1999 with 4 goals 22 points from mid-field, third-leading
scorer in 2000 with 16 goals 40 points, and leading scorer in 2001 with
31 goals 43 points. In 2000 set the Shamrocks record
for most points, and in 2001 set the records for most goals in a game,
most goals in a season, and highest total score in a season. Won the 2000 World Cup with
Australasia. Player-coach of the Shamrocks' 2001 Queensland Championship
winning team to add to her medal collection. Played a sensational 2001
Australasian Championships, scoring a Queensland record 4 goals 5
points against South Australia. Retired after the 2001 Australasian
Games with the unique honours of reigning World Cup champion, reigning
Queensland champion, and three consecutive Australasian All-star

Terry Reilly
From
the tiny Kilmainham GFC in Co. Meath - the smallest club in the county.
Won the Co. Meath under 21 Championship in 1998, and captain in the
2000 Championship (eventually won again) in one game before heading to
Shamrocks in Australia. Regular Shamrocks senior player in 2001, and
also set the reserve team records for highest score in a game, most
points in a game, and most points in a season.

Sporting Highlights: Going to town on the Brisbane
Shield. Shamrocks fifth-leading scorer in 1999 with 3 goals
7 points. Queensland Minors representative, and Queensland
seniors representative at 1999 Australasian Games. Scored 1 point in
the first game of 2000 before going on loan to Ireland. Inaugural best
& fairest award winner in Queensland reserve grade in 1998, and
Shamrocks most improved in reserve grade in 1998.
Tom Ryan
Debuted in 2000, scored a point, but didn't really return after going
on army manoeuvrers.
Matthew Shakhovskoy - Cousin Shaq
Debuted in 1999, winning Shamrocks reserves Best First Year Player award.
Played a couple of games in 2000.
Michael Shakovskoy
- Junior Shaq
Debuted in 1999, and played again in 2000. Probably the worst singer in
the club, after his performance at the Shamrocks' awards presentation
karaoke - he was appalling. Appeared on national television auditioning
for 'Pop Stars' and again on a current affairs programme painted as a
'Kiss' fan. Hasn't been seen at training or at games since.
Willy
Shanahan
From
the Ballina GAA club in County Tipperary, where he won a county junior
hurling championship in 1998. Debuted for Shamrocks in 2001, scoring an
outstanding 2 goals 1 point in the winning Brisbane Shield final. Finished
the season as Shamrocks' fourth-leading scorer.
Carol Sheridan
Played
a handful of games in 2001 while visiting from Ireland, scoring 1 goal.
Ian Slevin
From
somewhere in Ireland (a mate of Steve Talbot). Played a few games early
in 2000.
Anthony Sloman - Tony
Debuted in 1998, second place in 1500m at 1999 St Patrick's Sports Day.
Played one or two games in 2000. Now a television personality.
Rab Smyth
From
the Dundrum GAA club in County Down, Northern Ireland. Leading player
for Shamrocks as they beat the previously seemingly invincible John
Mitchel club in the final of the 1998 Brisbane Shield.
Andrew Stevens
Debuted in 2000 and finished as Shamrocks eighth-leading scorer with 1
goal 9 points. Named the Shamrocks reserves Best First Year Player in
2000. Played 1 game in 2001, and played for Kenmore Bears AFC against
Shamrocks in the International Rules Shield.
Scott Stevens
Characteristics: Laid back, infatuated with Billy
Rockett, enjoy spending time with friends
Interests: Gaelic Football and Rockett watching.
(Queensland representative at the 1998 Australasian Games. Won the
Queensland senior most consistent player award in 1998. 1999 Shamrocks mens fitness trainer. Played again in
2000. Transferred north to Cairns with the mission to found the
'Cairns' Shamrocks.)

From the Fossa club, outside Killarney, Co. Kerry, now living permanently in Australia.
Queensland representative at Australasian Games, Queensland
captain in 1998. Shamrocks seniors Best & Fairest Player in 1998
and 1999. Shamrocks seniors coach in
1999-2000-2001. Fourth-leading scorer for Shamrocks
in 2000 with 5 goals 11 points. Previously held the Shamrocks mens record with 3 goals
in a game. Shamrocks third-leading scorer in 1999 with 6 goals 9 points despite
playing much of the season in goals, fifth-leading scorer in 2001.
Missed the 2001 Championship semi final due to an overseas tour. Regularly receives Kerry newspaper
coverage for his achievements with Shamrocks. Retired after the
2001 season.
