WHY I LIKE THE SCA: It's enjoyable and relaxing plus most of the events are out of Helleville.

ABOUT MY PERSONA:

"IN 1259 I was born in a tent in Southern Russia. My family was travelling when my mother gave birth to me. I had an older brother. My parents named me Anastasia The Quiet because I was such a quiet baby.
We continue to travel soon after I was born. We lived off the land. Some of my family members were metal workers, gardeners and brick layers.
We did what we could in and around many towns, when finished we moved on. Some people were nice and offered us clothes and food, others thought of us as theives because we sometimes took what we needed to eat and survive.
As an adult the camp I was in was raided by French Soldiers, my parents killed. My brother became a slave after being captured. I escaped with my brother's wife and her two young children.
I tried to find and free my brother but he was nowhere to be found. The group I was with went on and I stayed behind.
I eventually went to the new world to start a new life.
As a gypsy I am free spirited and independant, living a nomadic life. I dance, sing and cook. I wear colourful pants, skirts, chemises and scarves.
In real life I am thirty - three and the single Mom of a young boy who also loves the S.C.A. (Jonathon the Fox)."
