Here we are getting lessons in using chainsaws.  Our Team leaders are on a "roof" in the grinder, and are showing us how to cut a hole in the roof for ventilation or inspection.  After they showed us that, they let us each start the saw, but we didn't cut anything.  After that, we went over to the axe station, and chopped up a bunch of wood for fun and practice.  Then we used a round circular rescue saw to cut a line in the hood of a car.  This was our power and hand tools class, and we learned about lots of tools, from the axe(which they told us is called a six pound pick headed fire fighting axe) to pike poles.
