With Edmonton:

-Made his NHL playoff debut in 1996-97 posting three goals, six assists and nine points including an assist on Ryan Smith's goal in second overtime in game five of Western Quarter Finals at Dallas.

With New Jersey:

Missed game six of Eastern Confrence Quarter Finals series vs. Ottawa in 1997-98, after undergoing a successful superficial sensory nerve surgery on his right wrist 5/1/97.  He had suffered the injury during game five while sitting on the

bench.  Teammate Randy McKay unintentionally lacerated Jason's wrist.
-Made his Devils' playoff debut 1998-99; posted two assists in five post season matches.
-Suffered an off-season injury to his left ring finger during a boating mishap, underwent surgery 8/98 and missed most of training camp.
-Made his debut for his first full season with the Devils 10/14/98 vs. Pittsburgh.
-Second on the Devils in the 1998-99 season with eight power play goals and third on the team with twenty goals for the season.
-Had points in each of his games played 3/25-4/12/99 (5g-5a-10pts), but missed three of seven games 3/31-4/8/99 with a bruised hip.
-Had points in 1998-99 season-high four straight 2/25-3/5/99 (6g-1a-7pts); also had four three game streaks and points in back-to-back bames six times.
