Comments:  Mike had an outstanding year this season, with exception of his un-timely illness.   Every-time Mike got on to the ice, we were confident that he could be depended upon, even when he wasn't (confident).  He, basically, had a very consistent game which is rare.  We were upset, when the season came to it's conclusion, that Mike did not achive his goal of getting a shut-out.  He came very close many times and we think that next season he will get it.  We hope to see Mike back around next year.  He has been a very positive addition to our team.   Mike is one of the nicest guys on the team and it has been great talking with him.  He is very funny.  You should here his accents. One night he did a German accent.  The funny thing about it was, you could tell he was Canadian because he added that infamous Canadian "Eh?".  It came out sounding like he was a displaced German.  It was weird.  

Other: Shared James Norris Memorial Trophy (fewest goals against-IHL) with Kat Whitmore (1998).  Named AHL Player of the Week (4/99).  Played CCHA second All-Star Team (1994, 1995).
