It's the last month of 2003. So what are you all buying me for Christmas? Hehe. :-p Anyways, had a conversation with someone yesterday and it seems some people think I hate them. I'm not quite sure why. I tell people over and over that I love them and could never hate them no matter what happens...and still people are convinced I dislike them. It's upsetting. It seems that no matter how much I try to assure people that I will always be there for them, they still don't believe me. OK guys and girls...listen up. I, just like everyone else, have arguements and fights with friends and the people I care about. It happens...it's a part of life. It just gives us a chance to go through the happy and feel-good process of making up! :o) Sure, I have said some negative things about people and they have said and done some rotten things to me. But in the end, it's not that big of a deal. I don't really care what people do or say to me...I DO NOT DISLIKE OR HATE YOU! When I say I am your friend, that is final. I am your friend for life. We may have some spats here and there, but after all is said and done, I'm here for you and love you. So for the people who don't talk to me because they think I hate them or think I'm going to bite their head off...TALK TO ME! I probably am waiting for you to say hi and not saying anything to you because I think that it is you that hates me...prove me wrong. I don't hate anyone...hope that makes it a little bit more clear.
As far as other things go....this past Saturday, November 29th, was Jen's birthday! :o) I bought her a card, flowers, stuffed animal, perfume, and candy. Then I took her out to eat at TGIFriday's. We had some mixed drinks, a buffalo chicken tender appetizer, and dinner. I had shrimp primavera...it was pretty good but I was stuffed afterwards. Jen had chicken alfredo. Then our waitress took our picture and put it in a birthday card. She also gave Jen a free dessert. After dinner, we went to the movies. The 1st theater we went to had all the shows sold out so we went to another and saw Bad Santa. It was pretty funny but there was A LOT of swearing in it. The film messed up and/or broke about 3/4 of the way through the movie and some people started whining. But most of the whiners were high school guys trying to impress their girlfriends by acting like asses. They fixed it and the show went on. We went back to Jen's house and had some birthday cake and that was it for the night.
I went back to the DMV yesterday to get my new license. It was very crowded. There was some really hot girl ahead of me in line...but she seemed like the made-up, fake tan, stuck-up type that thought she was too good to be in a place like that. But I could be wrong. Anyhow, I waited for about an hour and 20 minutes and finally got out of there.
December 9th, 2003 - 2:00 PM
A lot has happened within the past week. Last Wednesday, Toys R Us finally called me back and offered me a job unloading trucks. It wasn't the job I wanted nor was it the hours I wanted...but it was a job. I started the following day. 2 minutes after I walked in, this grumpy older guy that I work with started getting cocky and rude to me. I was tempted to kick him in the nuts, tell him to fuck off, or quit...or maybe all three. Instead, I bit my tongue and unloaded the truck that whole day. I need the money right now. If I was fine with money and had another job lined up, I wouldn't have held myself back from telling him off.
It snowed a couple of times, making the roads rather yucky this past weekend. I had off on Friday, which was a good thing. On Saturday, I managed to brave the snow and go in. A lot of other people called off. I found out that a kid I worked with at Ponderosa for like a year or more was working at TRU now and had been since '97 when he quit Pondo. So I hung out with him for most of the day doing nothing but watching him put bikes together. There wasn't a truck to unload so it was a boring day. Me and this other new guy stocked some stuff before I left...that was fun.
That night, I went out to Jen's and we went to the movies to see Love Actually. It turned out to be pretty good. The roads still sucked and a deer stumbled in front of me while I was taking Jen home but luckily we were going slow enough to not hit it. Then, on my way home, the wind was blowing snow and made it impossible to see anything, including the snow- covered road. So, I was slowly sliding into the middle of the road I guess...really couldn't tell if I was on the road or not. I also saw in the paper that day that they had awarded some girl from Becahi the Girls' Tennis Player of the Year...and of course, that reminded me of an old friend who I miss. :o(
On Sunday, work was a little busier. We had to keep going out and getting boxes of Elmos from outside since they were selling like hotcakes. Every time we were wheeling them back in, the wind would blow all of the boxes on to the ground. The guy who was with me was getting pissed but I thought it was kinda funny! Anyways, Jen and I went to Friendly's that night for dinner...not much else.
