Desperate Housewives

[11-17-04] - Monday Night Football Controversy - If you don't know what I'm talking about, the November 15th edition of MNF had a short opening in which Housewives actress Nicolette Sheridan showed "her stuff". The scene had her asking Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Terrell Owens to skip the game and spend some time with her. In order to persuade him, she dropped her towel, which was all she had been wearing. Everyone who is complaining about it has to get a grip and chill out. People overreact too much. She didn't show anything besides her naked back...ooooooooo! Cover your eyes! A bare back is just so naughty! This is just so stupid for people to get mad over. The only reason there is so much heat over it is because of the Janet Jackson incident at the Super Bowl along with the big controversy over showing the unedited version of Saving Private Ryan last week. You take a look at DAYTIME TV and you will see worse things than this. You have afternoon soap operas where people are having sex and whatnot. But I understand the NFL doesn't want such a racy thing associated with them, right? Hmmm...how about all of the beer ads during every football game that show hot chicks wearing practically nothing? Yeah, and those TWIIIIINS! Sure. Everyone on the football side of it claims they didn't know what was going to be shown. Right. What did they think they were shooting? Liars. Maybe people should take a look at the fact that this portrayed Owens as not caring about the team and being out for himself...oh wait, that's what he always does.

Steve Irwin

[1-16-04] - Crocodile Hunter Endangers His Son - Steve Irwin, the Croc Hunter, is under fire for a stunt he pulled. At his reptile park in Australia, while feeding a croc with one hand, he held his month-old son, Robert, with his other arm. Many many people have slammed Irwin since, even comparing him to Michael Jackson and his baby-dangling incident. Irwin defends his actions, saying the child was never in any danger and he had complete control of the situation. As far as I can tell, it looked pretty dangerous to me but he's the one who has been working with crocs his whole life so who knows. I don't think it was too intelligent to do what he did but nothing happened.

Shania Twain

[5-20-03] - "Forever And For Always" - This is my sweetheart's new video. I saw it on CMT a week or so ago. It was way better than her "Up!" video which I thought sucked some serious tail. She's just looking as fine as ever. :o)

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

[5-20-03] - Series Finale - Before Angel came on, this was my favorite show on TV. It's kinda sad that it's ending tonight after 7 seasons but they really would have a tough time coming up with more ideas. And apparently, Sarah Michelle Gellar wants to do movies now. IT makes me think back to when this show started out, I was still working at Ponderosa and starting college...wow....crazy stuff. Xander got his eye gouged out a few weeks back...LoL...that was pretty funny. Anya dies tonight according to the spoilers I have read so we'll see how it all goes.

24

[5-20-03] - Season 1 Finale - I didn't start watching this until like the 20th episode...haha. I've watched the last few weeks and the finale is tonight. I guess I will comment more on it later.

Angel

[5-20-03] - Season 4 Finale - The season finale was almost 2 weeks ago. I am still trying to understand what exactly was the point of this past season. An evil, higher being makes a bunch of things happen so it can be born. All the while, it is blocking the sun and wanting to make the world evil and all of that. But then when she is born, she tries to make the world peaceful?? Didn't make any sense to me at all. The finale was good though cuz it showed that sometimes you have to give up someone you love in order for them to be happy. Angel made a deal to have his son be un-born/re-born into an alternate family and existance so he didn't have to deal with all of the heartache he had to deal with in his current life. Confusing if you don't watch it.

Dawson's Creek

[5-20-03] - Series Finale - Dawson's Creek ends after 6 seasons I think. I stopped watching it after Season 2 I think...watched a few eps this season and I caught the finale. Pretty much, it made the 1st season seem so pointless...LOL. But I guess in life, things happen that make all of the problems and troubles of your past mean nothing. Basically, here is all that happened. They reunite 5 years later in Capeside to celebrate Dawson's mom getting re-married. Jack is in love with Pacey's brother, Doug, who has apparently come out of the closet after many years of gay jokes by Pacey. Jen dies from some heart disease. Joey picks Pacey to be with and Dawson goes off and becomes a famous Hollywood producer of a show called "The Creek". Would have been better if Dawson and Pacey killed each other over Joey but we don't always get what we want.
