The rules are very simple. 1. The league will be running on EA Sports NHL 2000. We will use the real NHL team and player names. 2. There are no computer owned teams. 3. All teams have a minimum of 24 and a maximum of 37 skaters and 2 or 3 goalies. 4. Without lines i will let the program to make ones for the team. 6. Trade will be official when both of the 2 GM`s confirm the deal with an e-mail to the commish. Trade can include players, money and draft picks. I will check all trades firmly and silly trades will be canceled (ie: Lindros FOR Harkins, etc) 7. Free agency and salaries Money is tradeble to increase or decrise the salary cap. Every player have to sign a contract with his team. Contract lenght: 1-5 years Over 30 years : max 3 years Over 35 years : max 1 year Rookies : 3-5 years Salaries depend on the overall rating of the players. OA >= 90 : min. $5,000,000 85 =< OA < 90: min $3,000,000 80 =< OA < 85: min $1,500,000 75 =< OA < 80: min $1,000,000 65 =< OA < 75: min $ 500,000 50 =< OA < 65: min $ 300,000 Every salaries will increase by 10 percent after every year. When a contract expires the player will become a free agent. Players aged over 30 will be unrestricted, below 30 will be restricted. In restriction the players` last team has the right to match the offers. Players can`t be resigned until they have a living contract. Compensation: OA >= 90 : 2,000,000 and 1st and 2nd round draft pick or 3,500,000 85 =< OA < 90 : 1,500,000 and 1st round draft pick or 2,500,000 75 =< OA < 85 : 1,000,000 and 2nd round draft pick or 1,500,000 65 =< OA < 75 : 500,000 and 2nd round draft pick or 1,000,000 50 =< OA < 65 : 2nd round draft pick or 500,000 If a team want to release a player then the team has to pay out the player`s actual yearly salary. 8. Those players who retired from the NHL will retire from the CHL after every season, too 9. Money bonuses: Stanley Cup Champion: 2,000,000 Stanley Cup Finalist: 1,500,000 Conference Finalist : 1,000,000 Conference Semi-Finalist: 700,000 Play-off Spot : 500,000 Every trophy winner will gain for his team: 300,000 If somebody have an idea or more then e-mail it to me. |
