16/11/1999 SUSPENSION FOR DAVIDS CONFIRMED
After two days rest the Bianconeri have started training again with an eye on the match against Milan Sunday evening at the Delle Alpi. In the big match with the Rossoneri Carlo Ancelotti will have to do without the influential Dutchman Edgar Davids who is suspended for the match following his sending off in the Turin derby.

Davids requested a day off and will begin training again Wednesday, the day that as usual will involve a morning and afternoon training session. Meanwhile Zambrotta (with the Under-21s), Tudor (Croatia) and Montero (Uruguay) are unavailable due to international commitments.

The rest of the squad trained on the pitch as usual, apart from Fonseca who is suffering from an injury to his foot and Oliseh who is back from international duty with Nigeria (losing 2-1 to Greece) and received a slight injury to his hip. Conte has been training for two days now and is expected back for Sunday. Esnaider is back in training on the pitch after his operation (meniscus) but is not yet available.

The Bianconeri will, after Wednesday´s customary double training session, be in training again Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoon and will then stay together till the big match Sunday.
