At present, I am trying to find out if there are copies of Carlton games from 1981-1982. To me, that was the greatest era in Carlton's history to date.
The reason being, is it possible to top the Buzz - Peter Bosoustow, Ken Hunter and Wayne Harmes.??
Channel 7 have apparently taped over all of their home and away games of Carlton in these years except for a couple of games Carlton lost.
Do you know if it is possible through one of your contacts to see if there are video copies of any Carlton games during this period. I am also interested in the 1979 Second Semi final.

I am a newly "converted" carlton supporter. And whats even better about me becoming a carlton supporter is that I used to barrack for essendon. I made a bet with my cousion and her three friends (who all barrack for carlton) that if essendon lost the prel
minary final that I would let them convert me into a carlton supporter forever and that I'd have to get a carlton emblem tattoe on my left shoulder as I was that confident essendon would win.
Well the rest is history. My cousion came over the next day with her three friends, took me to get tattoed and then shopping to get decked out in carlton gear. It took getting used to, wearing a carlton jumper but now I love it! I look better in navy blue
then red and black anyway. Iv'e also always had a thing for carlton chicks so i guess it was meant to be.
My cousion and her friends finished off my conversion by burning all my essendon stuff. And I have now joined carlton as a member too. Had to cancel my essendon membership and explain to them why. ha! ha!
Like every other supporter I am now learning to start hating essendon. I never knew barracking for carlton could fel so good. THe best and most successful team in the league. BLUES RULE, ESSENDON SUX!

Carlton is the best team in the AFL
I am a Gold memeber, and sit the Richard Pratt stand. I have watched Carlton play every week with out fail.
I believe carlton are fighting hard even though we have lost a few games and had a few injuries we are still playing hard.
I think Brett Backwell was a good pick up and it was good to Adrian Hickmont take the field the other week. It is great to see Ang Christou fighting hard helping our defense dominate.
All we are lacking is a key full foward.
Keep striving hard carlton you are playing to extremes despite injuries
