TECMO LEGENDS

There are certain plays that happen in any league that are points of controversy for years to come. We've already had our share. Here's some of them that are going to be presented in no particular order.

1. Jason's Dolphins are ahead by four with about 50 seconds to go in the game. Tampa is back up to their own 22 facing a fourth and sixteen. John Offerdahl puts on a brutal rush and Steve Deberg gets it off any way. Suddenly Ron Hall comes out of no where, Jumps up, lands OFF the bottom screen, you couldn't even see the top of his helmet. The computer called it complete and good for a gain of 17. Next play was a touchdown bomb to Dawsy in triple coverage and that cost the Dolphins the game. It may have cost them the season because it sent them limping into the playoffs.

2. Mike seems to have problems with the Raiders. There is one play that just absolutly typifies what I'm talking about. HE is the undefeated Cowboys. Michael Irvin breaks down the top side line completly wide open. Out of no where Terry McDaniel flies from the bottom of the screen, begins sliding at the bottom hash mark, all the way to the top and comes up with the interception. Then he proceeds to get up, break Irvin's tackle and return the ball to the cowboy's 8 yard line. They score two plays later.

3. Brian #2 was a recipetiant of some questionable coaching. His Broncos had the Raiders on thier own 25 with 33 seconds to go in a tie game. On a fourth and 8 they attempt a field goal!!! We all just sat there with our mouths open. I have never seen anything like that before. He scored two plays later and won the game. It was a gift.
