Well, I'm back from Lillooet! IT WAS AWSOME! The Toop Brothers and
half the other team didn't come, so we ended up having less than
half the team there! (7 skaters & 2 goalies)! Our second
goalie, played out, so we had 2 players on the bench. Still not
much! And one of the girls on the PeeWee house team, (Who was our
age and should have been on our team all year long, But decided to
play down), Came to play for us! THANK GOD SHE DID! She helped
alot! Every player helps when your that short!! We Then had 3
players on the bench. IT WAS AWSOME! I LOVE ALL THE ICE TIME! In
the first game, we Played Hope. Mayby the #1 Bantam House team in
the Province of B.C.! They beat us 5-4 and 13-2 in Princeton to
send us to 2nd place there. In Lillooet, they beat us 5-2, pretty
good considering we diden't only had 2 extra forwards! I took only
2 breaks that game!!!!!! I played the whole 2nd AND the whole
3RD!!!!!!!!!!!! I got an assist on Nick's Goal! All the parents
said I passed too much and should shoot more! The next game, we
played Kamloops, we lost 10-4. I got one of our goals! I took a
hard angle shot on a fast break, and it JUST squeaked in!!!!!!!! I
SHOT THE PUCK!!!!!!!!! And once again, I played the whole 2nd AND
the whole 3RD, no breaks!!!!!!!!!!!! In the 3rd game on Sunday at
7:30am, we played Chilliwack. We lost 9-2. It was our last game of
the season. They only led 2-1 after 2, But we were just playing
for fun in the 3rd, and they needed to win to make the "A" or "B"
final! I Got another Assist in this game to! I ALSO SCORED AGAIN!
I got A Rebound off a shot by... Either Shaya Or Nick, and PUT IT
IN!!!!!!!! WHAT A GOAL!!!!!! IT FEELS SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD TO
SCORE!!!!!!!! I PLAYED THAT ENTIRE GAME! NOT 1 BREAK! I DIDENT
EVEN STEP INTO THE PLAYERS BOX ONCE!!!!!! After each game, MVP
award were given to each games Most Valuable Player. After this
game, they annoused that the winner from our team was #5!!!!!!!
ME!!!!!!! Karsten K!!!!!!!!! Before the game I told my mom that I
wanted it and was Going to WIN IT! AND I DID!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A WAY
TO END THE SEASON!!!!!!!!!! LILLOET WAS AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE 4 PINES MOTEL WAS AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE RINK WAS
AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS TOURNAMENT
RULED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A WAY TO END THE
SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OUR TEAM MAY NOT WIN MANY GAMES, BUT WE
SURE KNOW HAW TO HAVE FUN!!!!!! WHAT A GREAT GROUP OF
GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I DIDENT SCORE AS MANY GOALS, OR GET AS MANY
ASSISTS, But I GoT LESS PEANALTIES AND PLAYED FOR THE LOVE OF THE
GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I PLAYED FOR
FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I HAD SO MUCH FUN IN HOCKEY THIS YEAR!!!!!!!! I
WENT TO EVERY PRACTICE, AND DIDN'T MISS ONE
GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THAT WAS THE BEST HOCKEY SEASON OF MY
LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!
