      Floor Combinations

        Combinations are when you combine two or more stunts together.

        Examples of floor combinations :

        • Tripod and roll
        • Headstand forward roll
        • Handstand forward roll
        • Front scale forward roll
        • Forward roll pivot backward roll
        • Side roll to knee scale
        • Back shoulder roll to knee scale
        • Backward roll to straight jump
        • Roundoff tuck jump
        • Roundoff backward roll

        • Front support to straddle on
        • Straddle to v-seat
        • Squat to pivot
        • V-seat swing to squat
        • Front support roll to rear support
        • Stork stand to front scale
        • Scale to assemble'
        • Leap to scale
        • Straddle on to sit through
        • Walk pivot turn walk

      Floor Routines

        The first two routines are examples of how two different students in the same class of the same age can interpret the same guidelines differently.

        Guidelines were to include a scale, an inversion, a jump or a leap, a roll, a locomotor movement and a pose in their routines.

        • Student #1 -- Knee scale, tripod, stand, tuck jump, skip, front straddle roll, pose
        • Student #2 -- Front scale to forward roll, straddle jump, chasse', pivot turn, back walkover, pose

        As you can see they both did the required elements, but because of developmental differences the end result was different, but correct for both children.

        Below are examples of some routines on the floor ranging from simple to complex.

        1. Knee scale, chasse, forward roll
        2. Side scale, log roll, v-seat
        3. Side roll, knee scale, stand, jump1/4 turn, chasse'
        4. Side scale, chasse', tuck jump, front kneeling roll
        5. Scale, chasse', forward roll, straddle jump, cartwheel
        6. Cartwheel, pivot turn, scale, leap, straddle jump, jump 1/2 turn, back straddle roll
        7. Back shoulder roll to knee scale, stand, pivot turn, cartwheel, tuck jump, chasse', front kneeling roll
        8. Backbend kickover to scale, straddle jump 1/2 turn, roundoff tuck jump, chasse', front limber
        9. Scale, roundoff back handspring, front walkover, chasse', forward roll to pike, valdez, back walkover
        10. Hand spring stepout, roundoff back handspring, scale, fouette, dive cartwheel, tour jete', back walkover, handstand forward roll, assemble', roundoff 2 back handsprings, jazz jump

        1. Step on , walk forward, step off
        2. Step on, walk forward, tuck jump off
        3. Squat on, stand, walk forward, pivot turn, walk backwards, step off
        4. Straddle on, v-seat, stand, 3 dip steps, straddle jump off
        5. Knee on, knee scale, stand, chasse',straight jump, dismount
        6. Front support to knee scale, chasse', pivot turn, walk backwards, pivot turn, leap, dismount
        7. Front support, straddle over, v-seat, swing to squat, stand, 3 kick steps, tuck jump, side scale, dismount
        8. Straddle on sit through, v-seat, leg kicks, one leg stand, chasse', scale, tuck jump, sissone, 3 dip steps, roundoff dismount
        9. Squat on, squat pivot, stand, body wave, pivot turn, skip, jump 1/2 turn dismount
        10. Straddle mount to split, sit through, swing to knee scale, stand, hitch kick, toe turn, pivot turn, cartwheel, jump 1/2 turn, chasse', roundoff dismount
