I wanted you to know that I really enjoyed your workshop on 12-3 and i hope to steal many of your ideas and plans to improve my program here at Wiley. Thanks for your enthusiasm, it's always great to hear the wonderful things about being a teacher and no the negative. You were great. Keep up the great work and please continue to share with us not-so-creative folks. Sincerely, Pollyanne Rhodes, Physical Education Specialist Wiley Elementary School, Raleigh, NC

I am a Penn State Gymnast and I think it is great that this page has been created. In grade school pe, the gymnastics curriculum was very traditional. It is hard to teach gymnastics in 15 lessons or so, but educatiional gymnastics is important. Keep it up oh- I am a kinesiology-teacher prep major. That is why I am interested in this page also.

My individual growth plan for this year is to develop an appropriate, effective phys. ed. program for my grade one students. My daughter, a rhythmic gymnastic coach discovered your site and e-mailed me the url. I've found this site very interesting and nformative, with lots of great ideas for sequential lesson plans. Have printed several pages, and will return soon. I especially liked the pages of resource materials and hope to purchase a few. Thank you for a most interesting and informative site.

What a great site. My colleagues shared this with our elementary staff at the county-wide meeting. This will be such a great resource especially for those a bit reluctant to teach for lack of experience. My only question is the inclusion of headstands. Do you feel this can put too much stress on the neck. In my teaching I have elminated the headstand and go right to handstands. Actually the students have more success with handstands and less complaints about headaches! Congratulations on a wonderful website.
