SEPT 13th--Schalick (lost 07-28) game notes:
Noel Rodgers carried the ball 29 times for 92 yards and a TD.
Andrew Myers (QB) was 8-for-14=71 yards and 2 interceptions.
It was the first win Schalick had vs Gloucester since 1984 when the Cougars won 14-6.
It was only the second time Schalick beat Gloucester in the schools history.
It was the first time coach Leon Harris lost the first game of the year on the field. Gloucester had a forefit loss in 1992 to Burl Twp. after they won on the field.
It was only the second loss for coach Harris in the month of September.


SEPT 19th--Pennsville (win 23-3) game notes:
Andrew Brandt carried the ball 15 times for 46 yards and 2 TD's.
Andrew Myers threw a TD pass to Matt Wilke.
Noel Rodgers carried the ball 12 times for 66 yards.


OCT 11th--Salem (win 21-8) game notes:
Andrew Brandt carried the ball 23 times for 104 yards and a TD.
Joe Green was 3-4=32 yards and ran for a TD.
Noel Rodgers carried the ball 24 times for 77 yards and had a TD.


OCT 18th--Clayton (win 44-06) game notes:
Andrew Brandt carried the ball 7 times for 77 yards and 2 TD's.
Joe Green was 1-2=25 yards and threw a TD pass.
Noel Rodgers carried the ball 7 times for 49 yards and had 2 TD's.
Dave Saunders had 5 carries for 64 yards and a TD.
Robert Bryan had 13 carrys for 112 yards and a TD.
Eric Gray had 7 carrys for 50 yards.
The Lions scored 38 points in the first half, starters didn't play in the second half.

The defense recorded another shutout with Joe Hartzel, Tom Ferry, Joe Shinn and John Davidson having great games.

Joe Green was 1-9=14 yards and a TD pass to Matt Wilke.
Noel Rodgers carried the ball 6 times for 26 yards..
Dave Saunders had 10 carries for 46 yards.
Eric Gray had 3 carries for 9 yards.
Joe Shinn scored on a fumble recovery.


NOV 8th--Glassboro (lost 14-27) game notes:
Andrew Brandt carried the ball 9 times for 34 yards.
Joe Green was 5-19=42 yards witn an int.
Dave Saunders had 22 carries for 76 yards and a TD.
Eric Gray had 10 carrys for 68 yards and a TD.
As a team the Lions rushed the ball 45 times for 182 yards.


NOV 15th--Paulsboro (WIN 15-00) Playoff game notes:
Andrew Brandt carried the ball 21 times for 128 yards and a TD.
Joe Green was 4-8=51 yards.
Dave Saunders had 23 carries for 77 yards.
Eric Gray had 8 carrys for 47 yards.
As a team the Lions rushed the ball 52 times for 252 yards.
Tom Ferry kicked a 27 yard field goal.
Steven Myers scored after sacking the quarterback and recovering a fumble.
It was the Lions first wins versus Paulsboro since 1946 (since then the Lions were 0-8-1)

NOV 21st--Schalick (lost 06-13 ot) Playoff game notes:
Andrew Brandt carried the ball 17 times for 38 yards.
Joe Green was 6-16=63 yards and 3 interceptions.
Dave Saunders had 17 carries for 68 yards.
Eric Gray had 11 carrys for 60 yards and a TD run.
Gloucester outrushed and led in time of possession.
It was the second year in a row the Lions lost in the second round of the playoffs in overtime.
