The Wings took the second game in the series with Ottawa, as they got the best of the pitchers duel, with a 1-0 win in front of 5,603 at Frontier. Forbes was the Wings offensive hero, as he had three hits and drove in Simons with two outs in the third, which was the only run in the game.
Faltisek was the tough luck loser for the Lynx, as he pitched a complete game allowing seven hits and one run. Bennett pitched a gem for the Wings, as he allowed one hit and no runs in seven. Converse and Kelley pitched well in middle relief and Munoz struck out Battle to end the game, thus earning him the save. The Wings continue the series with Ottawa at home tomorrow.
