Well, in an attempt to finally start a game recap out on a positive note, the Wings finally managed a homerun this season, Rosario's hot play continued as he went two for three with the longball. Well, that is about it for the positive comments, the Wings miserable streak continued, as they suffered a 5-3 loss to Scranton in front of over 3,800 in Scranton.

The Wings complete and total lack of any timely hitting at all continued as eleven players were left on base during the course of the night. Tonight they actually managed to compile a decent number of hits, it was for nothing. Prior to tonights game only three Red Wings batted above .300 (Rosario, Greene and Forbes), with the remainder of the club carrying embarassing batting averages. Perhaps the biggest underperforming player on the club thus far would have to be Bo Dodson, a proven AAA players who is now batting 2-20 (.100).

Curtis had to make an emergency start for the Wings and gave up three runs and four hits in 3 1/3 innings. Osteen was shakey in his 2 1/3 innings, though Horsman was solid during his appearence. The Wings will hope to stop the bleeding tomorrow as they play game three of the series with a 2:15 start.
