The Wings took their third straight win from Charlotte at Knights Castle by a score of 5-4. Rick Krivda started, and while his effort was not his normal spectacular play going six innings, allowing three runs, it was still good enough for his league leading fourteenth win. Matos and Davis both had good games as each had three hits and an RBI. Rod Steph earned his eleventh save of the season despite getting into some trouble in the ninth.
The Wings three game shutout streak against the Knights did come to an end (it included one game from the previous series) tonight. The Wings have won sixteen of eighteen games and are now 6-1 on the road trip! The PawSox fell to Syracuse tonight so the Wings lead is extened to six. The Wings will go four their fourth straight win at Knights Castle tomorrow night.
