The Wings won their fourth straight game with a 5-3 win against Columbus in front of 11,421 at Frontier. The Wings took an early 4-0 lead which would hold, Danny Clyburn had a homerun. Brian Williams started and pitched well earning the win with Ramirez coming on for his third save of the year. Shane Spencer did have two homeruns for Columbus providing for most of the Columbus offense.
The Wings remain 5 1/2 games up on the PawSox as they beat Ottawa. The Wings continue the series tomorrow night at Frontier.
