The Wings win the first game they have played in Syracuse's new Price Champion Stadium in impressive style. The Wings fell behind early with Syracuse scoring three runs off of Haynes, including two off of an inside the park homer. The score remained that untill the eigth inning, the Wings scored a run to chip within two. Then in the top of the ninth inning with one man on, two outs and two strikes on Otanez, he hit a two run homer to tie it up. The Wings then dodged a bullet in the ninth, as with two outs and the bases loaded Shouse came to get the third out with a strike out.
In the tenth, two men were walked on base, then came up Tolentino with one out who had already grounded into two double plays. Then he hit what looked to be another double play ball, but the ball was thrown into the outfield scoring two runs. So the Wings managed to score two runs on no hits that inning. Then in the tenth Williams came on for his second save and the Wings now have won their second in a row (both in extra innings), and are 3-0 in extra innings! The Wings will again play in P&C tommorrow in a 12:30 game.
