The Wings blew out Columbus by the score of 7-1 in front of 9,281 fans at Frontier. Yan pitched spectacular once again going seven innings and allowing only one run. Corbin came in for two scoreless innings after that. Wawruck had a great day at that plate as did much of the club pounding out sixteen hits. This win gives the Wings a 5-3 record for the homestand.
Yan will now be the ace of the Wings staff due to the much deserved Krivda call up. The PawSox lost today, so the Wings have a season high 6 1/2 game lead. The Wings will now go on the road which starts in Toledo after an off day tomorrow.
